Psykologi

Psykologi er valgfag på C- og B-niveau på STX

Psykologi er menneskekundskab. Og som sådan repræsenterer psykologien en viden, som alle elever og kursister bringer med i skolen. Langt de fleste har en nysgerrighed efter at forøge denne viden om sig selv og om andre. Det er som aldrig før nødvendigt at kunne navigere hensigtsmæssigt i sociale sammenhæng, herunder arbejdsmæssige forhold; og i det hele taget i globaliseringen. Derfor er mange elever og kursister interesseret i faget psykologi.

Undervisning i psykologi

Den psykologi, der undervises i, er videnskaben psykologi, med sine rødder og metoder fra både det humanistiske, det samfundsfaglige, og naturvidenskabelige fakultet. Det er videnskaben om, hvordan mennesker sanser, tænker, lærer, føler, handler og udvikler sig universelt og under givne omstændigheder.

Faglige mål

Psykologien skal primært beskæftige sig med det normalt fungerende menneske dvs. den sunde psyke. Du skal kunne forholde dig kritisk til centrale psykologiske teorier og kunne udvælge og anvende psykologisk viden på konkrete problemstillinger.

Du skal ligeledes kunne demonstrere kendskab til fagets forskningsmetoder og etiske problemstillinger i psykologisk forskning.

Eksamen

Eksamen er en mundtlig synopsis eksamen. Der udleveres en række tekster med psykologisk indhold i overensstemmelse med de temaer, du har arbejdet med i løbet af året. Du har så 24 timer til at udarbejde en problemformulering og besvare denne. Besvarelsen tager med evaluering 30 minutter. Den første tredjedel af tiden fremlægger du dine resultater, og den resterende tid er en uddybende samtale med lærer og censor.

Eksamen er individuel, men der er mulighed for gruppeforberedelse.

I psykologi arbejder man med 4 hovedemner:

  • Socialpsykologi: Hvordan mennesker fungerer i grupper, om gruppepres, stereotyper og fordomme, kommunikation, kulturelle forskelle.
  • Udviklingspsykologi: Menneskets udvikling gennem hele livet, betydningen af arv, miljø og kultur, omsorg/omsorgssvigt og familiens betydning for udvikling, herunder betydningen af sårbarhed contra modstandsdygtighed.
  • Kognition og læring: Psykologiske, sociale og kulturelle forholds betydning for læring, intelligens, motivation og hukommelse samt tænkningens betydning for menneskets forståelse af omverdenen.
  • Personlighed og identitet: Identitet og personlighed, individuelle forskelle i livsstil, håndtering af arbejde og stress.

Undervisningsformer:

Undervisningen er organiseret i temaer, og arbejdsformerne veksler mellem det lærerstyrede og det mere selvstændige arbejde. Udover teorigennemgang er der casearbejde, klassediskussioner samt diskussion af film og dokumentarudsendelser.

What is Lorem Ipsum?

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry.

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Why do we use it?

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
